Thank PEP it’s Friday!

27th November

It’s been a very busy week here at PEP, although the weathers been wet and cold it’s hard not to feel festive and as Christmas draws in everyone seems to be in good spirit :)

This is the part where we announce this week’s winner of job of the week, it’s been tough making a decision as always but I’m glad to say it has to go to…… The Springfield School!

Printing school Christmas cards is always a great pleasure, their drawings and paintings were very impressive and put a smile on our faces, they also reminded us how close it is to Christmas! So thank you children and teachers at the Springfield school. If you are thinking about having your own personalized Christmas cards printed for next year OR if you still want to have some printed this year we would be more than happy to deliver a fast turnaround service to give you the best possible Christmas, with a guaranteed quality finish!  Just get in touch and we’ll do the rest!

20th November

It is that time of the week again, I know it’s cold, wet and windy but here is a post to cheer you up ready for the weekend.

As you all know, Job of the week is a massive part of our blog and now it is time announce this week’s winner…. St Margaret’s Church with an order of 100 charity calendars.  What a fun job this was, the photos were very uplifting and put a smile on all of our faces here at PEP. If you are thinking about having your own personalized calendars printed for the New Year then we are the right people for the job, quick turnaround and a guaranteed quality finish!  Just get in touch and we’ll do the rest!

St Margarets Church Pic

We have been posting a lot on social media this week trying to keep everyone enthusiastic through this horrible weather! With mind blowing facts, jokes and even started a Sunday riddle for everyone to try.  If you missed it here it is:

PEP’s Sunday Riddle – You see a shirt for £97, you can’t afford it so u borrow £50 from your mum and £50 from your dad which equals £100. You buy the shirt and get £3 change so you give your dad £1 and your mum £1 back and you keep the other pound. So now you owe your mum £49 and dad £49, 49+49 =98 + your £1 =99. Where’s the missing £1? – This riddle had me confused for a while, let’s see how quick you can do it.

Among the usual print orders this week was a BIG run of Christmas cards, 30,000 in all.  Printed, scored, folded and inserted and sealed into envelopes ready to post.  And yes you’ve guessed it, fully delivered on time again!

Here’s a pic of Jeremy enjoying the packing :)

Here’s a joke to give you a little giggle just before the weekend:

“I’m on a whiskey diet. I’ve lost three days already”

p.s I hope none of you go on that diet this weekend! :)

Have a great weekend,

The answer to our riddle: Hopefully you know it because we don’t! :) :/

Thank PEP it’s Friday! The 13th…..

As you all know its Friday the 13th and all the superstitions are beginning to show, many of you may be daring enough to sit at home this evening and watch a scary film (I know I won’t be!). Anyway what a busy week we have had and its gone so quickly! Everything is starting to seem more festive now as we get closer to Christmas! As always it’s time to announce PEP’s job of the week, and as Christmas is coming up we are receiving a lot of Christmas card orders, but one that really stood out for us was this card taken from an original drawing by Jeanette Arksey, what a great design!

If you have been keeping up do date with our social posts you will have seen how much printing is improving and how it could be the future for anything and everything, from being able to 3D print real teeth to actually printing real working organs to be replaced for patients in need. The news is astonishing!

3d printed teeth

Maybe PEP will be printing you a 3 course meal one day when you want to take the wife out :) who knows! The possibilities are endless by the sounds of it.

This week we also printed a couple of Roll Up banners for one of our customers who needed them double quick for an exhibition two days later!  ‘No problem’, we said, be it big or small or needed ASAP we always strive to meet the deadline, however tight it might be.  And meet it we did, creating another happy customer in the meantime!

Thanks to all Twitter followers and Facebook likes this week we really appreciate your support – we hope you enjoy our daily chat and PEP facts of the day.

Here’s a Little joke slightly on the theme of Friday the 13th to get you in to the scary spirit of the weekend :)

“A man and a friend are playing golf one day. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course.

“He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer. His friend says: ‘Wow that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You are truly a kind man.’

“The man then replies: ‘Yeah, well, we were married 35 years.'”

Have a great weekend,

Thank PEP it’s Friday!

To begin I would just like to say a big hello, my name is Edd Heyne and I have just recently joined the PEP The Printers Branch in Rustington and I hope you enjoy my Blog :).

So the PEP blog is back!. Another week has passed at PEP and the winter is definitely on its way! Heaters on and Plenty of hot tea throughout the day. Although it’s not all bad! Christmas is only 49 days away!!! :)

At PEP this week we have had a lot to keep us warm and going this week and therefore its time to announce job of the week, its going to have to go to our job of 10,000 Envelopes to a local Cash and Carry Firm in a timeframe of less than a week! But, as always, we hit the deadline and made another happy customer. Have you got a tight deadline to hit? Dont be shy, give us a call, we love a challenge!

In between the usual prints and orders we also had an interesting design job for a local church calendar this week. For my first major task I completed some Admin!. We all love a bit of Admin…..or do we ;/ It’s got to be done! Around 4,000 Job bags had to be moved and sorted into numerical order! As you can see our kitchen has been taken over, whoops:).

We have also been very active on social media this week and have brought back our Fact of the day! This will feature at 10am and 8pm every day Mon-Fri. Feel free to chat to us on and offline any time, we’d love to hear from you.

A massive Thanks to all our new twitter followers and Facebook likes this week – we hope you enjoyed our daily chats and our amazing PEP Facts of the day.

Here’s a winter joke to get you ready for the laughs to come this weekend –   “what did the big furry hat say to the warm woolly scarf?”

“You hang around while I go on ahead”

Prints, Copy, Design, Fact and now Jokes!.. Aren’t we just brilliant!

See you next Friday! – or if you need us beforehand just call one of the team on 01903 641 714 we’re ready and waiting.

Have a great weekend,

July 12th – TPIF – Thank PEP it’s Friday!

Thank PEP it’s Friday!

Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It has been busy busy in the PEP shop the last couple of weeks, due to staff being off and a huge stack of orders. But, we are not complaining – we love to be busy, it just means my little blog gets put to the bottom of the queue…

However, while I have five minutes spare, here is a quick catch up on the last fortnight at PEP Towers.

First things first, the winner of the Wimbledon hamper has been announced. Congratulations Fiona!

So we now have a new hamper to win! This month, it is the ‘Barbeque Hamper’ full of local produce and even some bbq tongs! Now summer is in full swing, we are positive everyone will want to win it! (Don’t worry, if you are Vegetarian or Vegan, we will swap the meat for some lovely Quorn sausages!)

How do we win it, I hear you cry!!? Well, look inside your thank you pack (that you will get when you place an order) and inside you will find a testimonial card just fill it in and send it off and you will be entered into the draw! If you prefer, you can  write your testimonial here.

Speaking of our thank you packs, there is a new one out! Guess who is on the front of this month’s card…little old me! Remember to keep hold of the other cards from the last few months…as a magnificent prize will be up for grabs if you have cards of all of the PEP Magnificent 7!

Other BIG news at the PEP shop this week is our new work tops have arrived! Doesn’t Mark look smart!

Mark was brave and opted for the bright coloured tops…keep your shades on when he is wearing the pink one! He will not go unnoticed, that’s for sure!! If you need work tops embroidered, you know who to call…PEP!

I managed to grab this little pic of Mark this morning while he was helping in the shop as we complete all the orders for delivery today . We also have Charlie (usually our Saturday boy) joining us for the summer AND this week we have also had Sam, from a local school doing his work experience week with us. Here is just some of the work he has designed with us over the week – flyers, mouse mats, business cards

… and this afternoon he is going to be making a t-shirt for himself! We hope you enjoyed yourself Sam! Thanks for your hard work and do pop in to see us whenever you want!

Thanks again to all our new Twitter followers and Facebook likes this week – we hope you will enjoy our daily chat and our PEP ‘Fact @4’…just like this one from yesterday…

Fact of the day! The width of your arms stretched out is about the same length of your whole body. Tell me something I didn’t know!

Print, design, copy and now facts – aren’t we brilliant!

See you next Friday! Call us on 01903 641714 to speak to one of the team if you need anything in the meantime.
